Optix Lasik Procedures

Vision Care, Inc. is opening doors to better vision for thousands of people with affordable LASIK procedures.

Extensive publicity and positive patient experience have created the acceptance and growth of laser vision correction. Vision Care Inc. network doctors will help plan members understand this new procedure and provide access to our network of LASIK centers.

Reduced Fees

VisionCare Plan offers the Lasik procedure for plan members who are nearsighted or have astigmatism and wear glasses or contacts. VCI has contracted with many of the finest LASIK facilities and eye doctors to offer this procedure at substantially reduced fees. If a plan member chooses another participating location, the member will pay no more than $1,800 for one eye. If a member chooses another participating location, the member will receive a 10% discount or pay no more than $1,800 per eye for the LASIK procedure. This means VCI could save plan members hundreds of dollars. And VCI makes LASIK available to plan participants and their covered family members at no additional coverage cost.

Quality Providers

VCI selected providers to work with us in this program based upon their LASIK experience and quality results. All providers of the LASIK procedure are board-certified or ophthalmologist who work in the most advanced LASIK facilities.

Easy Access to Service

Members can go to any of the plan's network optometrists for an initial screening, to determine if the patient is a candidate for LASIK. If the patient qualifies, the doctor will make arrangements for the procedure with one of the LASIK centers that participates in this program. Plan members can also go directly to one of the participating providers,

In either case, plan members must first contact VCI either by visiting our Web site (VCI) or by calling Optix, at 800-393-2873 for a list of providers in their area, and to receive a RefractiveCare ID card.
