ROSWELL, GA - August 25, 2004 - CompBenefits, a leading provider of dental and vision benefit plans, announced today that Judith Herron has been appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing. Herron brings experience from the likes of CIGNA and GE to the CompBenefits senior leadership team.
"CompBenefits has grown exponentially in recent years, and we are poised for a similarly dramatic period of development," said Kirk Rothrock, CompBenefits CEO. "It is extremely important that moving forward, we project our position in the marketplace aggressively, continually attracting quality providers and customers, and Judith has the background and savvy to help us do that."
Herron's first initiatives in coming on board include re-launching the CompBenefits Web site and launching several innovative products through 2004. Herron has also been tasked with continuing the integration of corporate and product brands within CompBenefits moving forward.
"CompBenefits is a significant player in dental and vision benefits, and has not, until now, gotten due credit in the marketplace for the value and innovation that its breadth and depth of products and services represent," said Herron. "As businesses are becoming savvier about including and customizing these benefits, as the public becomes more aware of the health value of dental and vision care, and as dental and vision providers leverage these trends, it's time for CompBenefits capitalize on these converging opportunities."
Ms. Herron joins CompBenefits with nearly 15 years of corporate management expertise.
