CompBenefits Hits the Road for Texas Schools Risk Managers Association Conference
Texas (May 16, 2005) - CompBenefits, the vision and dental benefits carrier for nearly 5
million people, recently partnered with the Texas Schools Risk Managers Association to present
the TXRSMA 2005 Conference, an annual meeting of more than 600 members and associates.
Risk management professionals in Texas' education sector gathered during the conference to
discuss the latest in risk management, employees benefits, Workers' Compensation, safety and
insurance and to seek certifications.
CompBenefits provides dental and vision benefits to school districts across Texas, from the
smallest to those among the largest, and was on hand not just as a corporate sponsor but as a
leader in its field with tips and advice to offer everyone in attendance.
"We always enjoy the time we have to spend with the TXRSMA members," says Victoria Humada, who
organized CompBenefits' portion of the event. "We not only look forward to explaining the
latest trends and products in the dental and vision insurance industry; we also value gaining
a better insight into how to serve our public sector clients better."
CompBenefits serves clients throughout the public sector with groups including state and local
governments and agencies as well as school systems. In fact, CompBenefits is the carrier of
choice for all of the school districts along the southern coast of the state of Florida.
