Dental Providers for New and Prospective Members
PPO Plans - (only available for group plans) Our PPO plans offer the benefit of out-of-pocket savings when using one of our CompNet participating dentists and the added freedom of selecting non-network dentists if desired.
Prepaid DHMO Managed Care plans - (available for both individual and group plans) With our DHMO plans, members choose a participating dentist from our panel of dentists and get excellent dental care without confusing claim forms or waiting periods.
Dental Access Plan (only available for group plans) - When members receive care from a participating provider, services are covered in full after member satisfies a specific co-payment for a covered benefit. No deductibles to satisfy when receiving care from a participating provider. Member may select a provider at the time of service without any pre-assignment to a dental office. If member decides to seek care outside of the network of participating providers, member pays for treatment rendered, completes a claim form and submits claim form for reimbursement.
AdvantagePlus Plan (only available for group plans) - When members receive care from a participating provider, services are covered in full after member satisfies co-payment for a covered benefit. No deductibles to satisfy when receiving care from a participating provider. Member may select a provider at the time of service without any pre-assignment to a dental office.
 Texas Dental Plans, Inc. Our reduced fee-for-service plans are designed to give you more choices. We have one of the most comprehensive dental networks in Texas. General dentists on the Texas Dental Plan offer services at set co-payments based on discounts ranging from 20% to 60% off their usual fees. Specialty services are offered at a 20% discount off usual fees when services are performed by a contracted specialist. There are no deductibles, claim forms, waiting periods, coverage maximums or hidden costs.
